I found this model on ebay. Thirty quid and a return train trip to Rainham, Kent, is all she cost.
I was inspired by a posed shot of Audrey Hepburn copyright Paramount pictures 1956 which is dominated by a white prop that runs diagonally through the frame along which Hepburn rests her white-gloved left arm. By contrast Hindsgaul, here, is armless and designed to be semi-reclining.
I had to make a big mess of our drawing room to get this lighting.
