'Difference between one who knows and one who undergoes" performance by Claudia Kappenberg at Froebel College, University of Roehampton.

Claudia's performance uses the figure of the garden gnome; one requirement is for the figure to be encountered or discovered in the landscape.

To document the performance for presentation in Claudia's seminar later the same evening I used a Quantum flash with a parabolic reflector to throw a pool of light from a distance.

At the end of the afternoon I saw  in the grounds a larch tree whose pine needles were turning yellow. I used the flash to throw some extra light on the reflective tree:
